Responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager:

As the Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Developing and managing detailed project plans to ensure timely and cost-efficient project completion.
  • Budget Management: Monitoring project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, and controlling expenditures.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborating with school districts, public agencies, architects, and subcontractors to align project goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring projects meet California’s public works standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns.

Qualifications:

To succeed as the Construction Project Manager, you should have:
