Responsibilities of the Program Manager – Public Works Construction:

Program Oversight: Manage multiple public works projects, ensuring alignment with company goals, budgets, and schedules.
Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Budget & Cost Management: Monitor budgets across all projects, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial objectives are met.
Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact with government agencies, clients, and the public, providing updates and resolving issues.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure projects are completed safely and on time.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, providing regular reports on progress and compliance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Program Manager in public works or infrastructure construction.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
Expertise in budget management and cost control for large-scale projects.
In-depth knowledge of public works regulations and construction codes.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
